Garden Design Planning Session
A collaborative outdoor planning session for balconies, courtyards, and modest yards — includes an annotated sketch, plant suggestions, and a 30-day follow-up review.
Smart Home · Consultation
One focused session to map out your connected home — lighting, climate, or door sensors — planned carefully around your household's existing setup and daily rhythm.
What this session delivers
You leave the consultation with a written document — specific to your home, your devices, and your preferences. Not a generic guide downloaded from somewhere, but a considered plan shaped around the rooms you actually live in.
Placement recommendations, wiring notes, and a phased checklist you can work through at your own pace.
Recommendations are chosen for compatibility and value — not tied to any brand or retailer.
You'll understand what each device does, where to place it, and how to expand the setup later if you choose.
Where things tend to stall
There's no shortage of devices available — motion sensors, smart bulbs, thermostats, cameras. But working out which ones talk to each other, which ones suit a Japanese home's wiring, and in what order to set them up is a different matter entirely.
Many people spend time reading articles, watching setup videos, and adding items to a shopping cart — only to pause because the compatibility question hasn't been answered. Or because the rental agreement raises questions. Or because there are two people in the household with different preferences about how the space should behave.
Situations this session addresses
How this works
The consultation doesn't begin with a product list. It begins with your home — the rooms, the routines, the devices already present, and the things you'd like to change about the way it functions.
We go through what you already own or are considering — checking how devices work together and identifying any gaps before any spending happens.
Sensor placement, hub location, Wi-Fi coverage — all mapped to your specific floor plan so the setup actually performs the way you expect.
For Japanese homes, wiring considerations are noted clearly. Where professional installation is advisable, that's stated plainly — no surprises after the plan is in hand.
The plan is staged — start with one room, get it working well, then expand. You're not asked to do everything at once.
What to expect
A short note confirms what you have in mind — which areas of your home, which types of automation, and any devices you're already working with. Nothing laborious.
We work through your space at a careful pace. Questions are welcome throughout — there's no assumption that you already know the terminology or how any of this fits together.
A follow-up note arrives with the written plan, vendor-neutral suggestions, and a checklist you can revisit whenever you're ready to move to the next phase.
The written materials are yours to keep. When you're installing something three weeks later and want to check a detail, the document is there.

Smart Home Setup Consultation
Single session · 75 minutes · Online or on-site
What's included
The session is conducted online or at your residence within our service areas across Japan. If you're unsure which format suits your project better, that's something we can work out together when you get in touch.
How it holds up
The consultation approach begins with an audit — understanding what's already installed, what the household wants to achieve, and what limitations (lease terms, older wiring, Wi-Fi dead zones) need to be accounted for before any recommendations are made.
This is deliberate. Households that have done a compatibility review before purchasing are far less likely to end up with devices that don't communicate with each other or require workarounds they didn't plan for.
Session length
Enough time to cover your space properly without rushing to conclusions
Deliverable timeline
Written plan and product note sent after the session
Recommendations approach
No brand affiliations — suggestions are based on compatibility and suitability
